The boys of Liquid360  have been extremely busy lately putting the final touches on their first original single “Shake Down”.  This song is one of those super catchy songs that you can’t get out of your head.  At first listen most people think it sounds like a cheesy boy band but quickly dismiss that notion as they start to sing along and next thing you know, you’re singing it the next day on the way to work!  Liquid360 balance the top40 sounding vocals with a serious high energy club anthem sound.  The beats are hard and the synths are soaring in both of their fantastic remixes…. Original Club Mix and Shake & Bake Mix.  As mentioned above,  Lenny B is working on a remix as well as Zapp & Vice and a dark NY tribal dub from newcomers, Albano & Perri.  Another remixer has just signed on that is truly a blast from the past… Mike Ivy (with Dave Rose for the Ivy & Rose Remix).  That name probably doesn’t sound familiar because he used to go under the name of Magic Dog and had a smash club hit out back in 1999 called “Mirror Mirror”.  The catch phrase of this NY tribal slammer was…”Mirror Mirror on the wall, Who’s the biggest Queen of them all… You Are BITCH!”  Now does that ring any bells? The CD single for “Shake Down” is actually going to be an EP containing official releases of last years hits “Chains of Love” & “Strange Love” with new a brand new mix of “Strange Love” and possibly the music video for “Chains of Love” This is turning out to be a really hot release!  But wait there’s more!! Liquid360 just recently finished writing and producing for a brand new artist, Lauren Hildebrandt. The song is called “Burnin Out” and has a star studded line up of remixes by Mike Cruz, Friscia & Lamboy, Georgie Porgie, Zapp & Vice and two distinctly different mixes by Liquid360.  Lauren is a hot new dance artist with a background in musical theater and dance, so you know she can tear it up on stage!  Her vocals are angelic and powerful.  Mike Cruz dishes up a NY tribal mix to end all while Friscia & Lamboy work the sexy afterhours sound (the synth switch in the middle is to die for).  Georgie works up a funky anthem remix.  Liquid360 pumps out two mixes,  the Egyptian Club mix and the Sleepless Dreams mix.  Both are slammin!  The newcomer out of the bunch is Zapp & Vice with their first official remix release but you wouldn’t be able to tell by listening to it.  Zapp & Vice play on our emotions with an amazing musical journey that is a throw back to the beautiful synth soaring / spirit lifting drop outs of a few years ago (ie Airscape’s Kiss, Thunderpuss’s Be With You) but with a peak hour anthem beat.  Simply amazing!  Check all these mixes out at www.laurenhildebrandt.com   

It’s the Friscia & Lamboy remix update!  Hehe,  Here’s another hard working remix team popping out remixes like no tomorrow.  As we can hear by the next two songs… It’s the return of the Diva anthem ladies and gentlemen!  WooHoo!  Andrea Love “Wonderful”  (Friscia & Lamboy New Vox Mix)  ~  This is H-O-T with a capitol “Holy Crap This Is HOT”  Murk “Doesn't Really Matter”  (Friscia & Lamboy Mix)  ~  La La Laa La Laa La La… Everybody sing along with me!  Dark and sexy baby… “Doesn’t seem to matter, and my heart and dreams are shattered, tho my soul is torn and tattered”  Well she doesn’t seem very happy… but that doesn’t really matter to us because it makes for a great dance song hehe.   Georgie Porgie “Sunshine”  (Friscia & Lamboy Mix)  ~  Georgie Porgie… the soulful house singer from Chicago steps into the arena with a big room anthem that is sure to be one of the hottest male vocal songs of this year!  Georgie always writes positive uplifting soul anthems (Love Is Gonna Save The Day, I Love I Love, Be Happy)  and finally thanks to Friscia & Lamboy (also Mike Cruz did a fabulous remix)  Georgie enters the high energy world of the big room tribal circuit anthem!  Pepper Mashay “Send Me An Angel”  (Friscia & Lamboy Heavenly Tribal Mix)  ~  Ms Pepper returns with a bangin cover of the 80’s classic by Real Life.  Pepper divas this song out by taking us to church and back again as only she knows how.  Go on with your bad self!  What’s next for Friscia & Lamboy?  Well they’ve got quite a line up of remixes on the way including new songs by Anthony Lamont, Paul Lekakis (yes girl, I said Paul Lekakis!), Friscia & Lamboy ft Amuka, Joi Cardwell & Georgie Porgie, and Inaya Day. 

Mike Cruz recently kicked off his DJ tour promoting his upcoming double CD release, “Arrival”.  Even tho he’s been around longer than dirt (We Love you Mike!) Remember Cruz & Bagz mixes!  But Mike is definitely hitting a peak in his career with tons of fierce club remixes and original productions over the past few years and many more lined up on this latest CD like the slammin duet of Georgie Porgie & Joi Cardwell “It’s Over” and a brand new song from Inaya Day called “You Spin Me”.  Also included on this cd are more of Mike’s personal remixes like Lauren Hildebrandt’s “Burnin Out” and Ralphi Rosario’s “Brinca”.  Several of the stops of Mike’s “Arrival” tour will actually contain performances by Georgie Porgie, Joi Cardwell and Inaya Day so look out for a club near you!  www.djmikecruz.com 

 Lenny B is working on remixes of Natasha Bedingfield “These Words” (Daniel Bedingfield’s sister), Liquid360 “Shake Down” & a remake of the Divinyl’s “When I Touch Myself”.  This last one is actually one of Lenny’s original productions featuring Kristy Kay and will be released on Radikal Records very soon.  Lenny’s version of “When I Touch Myself” is brilliant!  Kristy Kay’s vocals work perfectly in this playful and irresistible 80’s classic remake.  Lenny’s dub remix is a cross between Benassi’s Satisfaction and Eric Prydz “Call On Me” but very tastefully done.  Also, you didn’t hear this from me, but Lenny did a mix of Britney Spears “My Prerogative” that would make you wet!  Unfortunately the label passed on it… We’ll never know why exactly.  www.lennybproductions.com  

A last minute remix update on a song that I reported on back in April… Snoop Dogg “Drop It Like It’s Hot” (Cory Activate Atomic Drop Dub)  ~  Cory did a wonderful job on this remix and is now getting airplay in regular rotation on KNRJ (Energy 92.7 / 101.1)  Not bad for a bootleg remix!
